身為兩個來自紐約的都市人，我們對台灣的印象一直停留在夜市小吃和繁華的都市。但這次的嘉義之旅，徹底顛覆了我們的想像。在翠綠的茶園裡，我們遠離了城市的喧囂，感受大自然的寧靜。透過專業的茶農解說，我們了解到台灣茶的獨特之處，也學習到如何泡出一壺好茶。漫步在森林步道上，呼吸著新鮮的空氣，聆聽著蟲鳴鳥叫，身心都得到了放鬆。這趟旅程，讓我們對台灣的文化有了更深一層的認識。

As two urbanites from New York, our impressions of Taiwan have always been about night market snacks and bustling cities. But this trip to Chiayi completely subverted our imagination. In the green tea garden, we are far away from the hustle and bustle of the city and feel the tranquility of nature. Through professional tea farmers’ explanations, we learned about the uniqueness of Taiwanese tea and how to brew a good pot of tea. Walking on the forest trails, breathing the fresh air, listening to the chirping of insects and birds, you can relax your body and mind. This trip gave us a deeper understanding of Taiwan’s culture.
